STA offers a Flexible Competitive & Quick Service

  1. These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with English Law.
  2. The warranty does not extend to mechanical breakage of shafts, planetaries etc.
  3. Batteries are disconnected for safety related reasons. No responsibility can be accepted for erasure of memory of electrical equipment, ie, radios, telephones, clocks and other presets.
  4. Vehicles not collected when work is completed or when authorisation to complete work etc cannot be obtained, for whatever reason, will be charged £50 per day storage.
  5. Payment can not be accepted by cheque
  6. Any electronic part  required, can not be refunded once the original packaging has been opened
  7. Post rebuild (within the warranty period) water damage due to defective radiator/oilcooler is not covered by warranty
  8. VAT is not included in any price given by or quoted by STA
  9. Warranty is valid only if the 3000 mile/3 month check up is carried out by STA
  10. The 18000 mile/18 month warranty is only available if the vehicle is returned to STA for a transmission service (at the price of the day) within the defined period
  11. Time scales given are subject to availability of original manufactures parts, if required for  remanufacturing.
  12. Any fuel added to enable a full and reasonable road test will be charged at pump price plus a 10.00 service charge
  13. Any vehicle left outside the premises, if delivered out of hours, is entirely at the owner’s risk. STA will not accept liability for any damage or loss in these circumstances
  14. A fee of 3.50 will be added to the final invoice for disposal of old transmission fluid/oil
  15. Any apparent or perceived fault discovered within the warranty period MUST be reported to STA immediately. Failure to do so may damage the transmission and render the warranty invalid.
  16. Courtesy car facilities are not available. No recompense will be made for or towards car hire fees.
  17. Warranty does not cover any vehicle used for any racing purposes unless agreed with STA prior to work being undertaken. This does not include performance transmission supplied or built with the knowledge that it is for non road use.

All road tests are undertaken at the owner's risk. Liability is not accepted for unforseen or consequential loss or damage to vehicles whilst in STA's custody or control.
All work is undertaken subject to our terms and conditions of trading, unless otherwise agreed by STA in writing.
